How long have you been trading and what is your experience?

An important question as websites can often disguise the fact that a company has been trading for a short period and have little knowledge of their product. We have been trading since 1972, so you can be sure that by now we know our product and how to treat our customers!

Our small teams of craftsmen have over 150 years of combined experience of woodworking.

Who do you supply?

Our products are purchased by the general public, builders, architects, kitchen companies as well as large corporations such as the BBC and have been exported as far a field as Japan, America and South Africa

What else do you make?

Apart from the products shown on our website, we are able to manufacture most items made from wood. Recent projects include living room furniture, bathrooms and even a timber frame house.

Where are you and can I visit?

We are based in rural Herefordshire. Our workshops are at The Old Forge, Peterchurch, Hereford. HR2 0SD. We have a small showroom which you are more than welcome to visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

What quality of timber do you use?

We only use FAS quality timber. This is one of the highest grades of timber available.

Where do you source your timber?

Oak, Ash, Maple Cherry and Walnut are sourced from North America. Mainly the New England and Canadian border region. These areas offer finest quality of timber in the world matched with ethical and ecological forestry management. Iroko is sourced from West Africa where we only purchase legally verified Iroko.
